Modern humanity often divides itself through race, beliefs, ethnicity, gender, and countless other labels. While identity is important, it can also become a source of separation. When we lose sight of our shared humanity and close our minds to others’ experiences, we create conflict and struggle.
This project explores the natural human connection — a connection that transcends the categories we’ve built around ourselves. It is a call to empathy, openness, and unity.
Inspired by the American Sign Language (ASL) sign for “family,” this public installation symbolizes inclusivity, togetherness, and the unbreakable circle that binds us all.’
