Human is a collaborative exhibition bringing together nine artists, each with a distinct and deeply personal story to tell. Through their individual practices, the artists explore what it means to be themselves—using their lived experiences, identities, and perspectives as the foundation of their work.

These personal narratives are clearly present within the artworks, expressed through form, material, and process. While each artist speaks from a unique position, their works sit together in dialogue, revealing both individuality and the shared emotional threads that define human existence.

The exhibition does not seek to unify these stories into a single narrative. Instead, Human creates space for difference, complexity, and authenticity, allowing each voice to be seen and heard on its own terms. Positioned at the threshold, Katie Denning’s Welcome takes the form of door handles, transforming the act of entering into a quiet invitation—one that acknowledges arrival and opens the exhibition as a space where many ways of being human can be encountered
